Nearsec Together

You would like to play multiplayer games online with your friends locally. With the help of Nearsec Together you can achieve that goal. It is an open source platform, with which you can stream your local multiplayer session into a web browser.

Your friends do not need to download anything. You host the game and give URL to the participants. They click the link and start to play. We use peer-to-peer connection technology to minimize input delay.

### Main Features

* **Instant play:** Viewers connect via a common web browser, on desktop or mobile platforms.

* **Mobile Support:** Participants could connect from a smartphone using touch controls and virtual joysticks.

* **Low input delay:** Inputs are delivered directly via operating system.

* **Linux Audio Separation:** We use PipeWire to separate game audio from voice chats.

* **Routing included:** The application includes binaries of Cloudflared and Zrok to create tunnels automatically without any manual networking setup.

### Nearsec Arcade

We implemented a public lobby system. You publish your game on the Arcade grid. Others all around the world will see your game and play via the web browser.

### Host Setup Requirements

If you want only to play games, you can ignore this section. Usually, you will use our compiled binary which handles all the processes automatically.

**Linux (Production Ready)**

* Our most stable OS.

* PipeWire should be used as the current audio server.

* Native ruleset is installed to bypass Steam Input limitations.

**Windows (Experimental)**

* Streaming and audio support are present.

* Manual installation of ViGEmBus driver is required to get gamepads support.

**Mac OS (Experimental)**

* Streaming and audio are supported.

* No gamepads support. Only keyboard and mouse are available.
